Duties

• Represent clients in legal matters related to local government law, public finance, commercial real estate, trusts & estates, corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, labor & employment, tax law, cybersecurity, business litigation, white-collar defense, and construction litigation.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to clients across various industries.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
• Advocate for clients in negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high-quality legal representation.
• Contribute to the firm's professional development initiatives, including mentoring junior attorneys.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Virginia and/or North Carolina.
• Proven track record of client development and business generation.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative legal team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Virginia and/or North Carolina.
