Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various client case issues.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
• Assist in litigation processes, including trial, hearing, and deposition preparation.
• Collaborate with clients to understand legal needs and provide sound advice.
• Stay updated on changes in state and federal laws relevant to civil litigation.
• Participate in client meetings and represent clients in court as necessary.
• Support senior attorneys in case management and strategy development.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of torts and civil procedure.
• Excellent writing skills focused on legal drafting and documentation.
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive legal research.
• Ability to effectively litigate cases and represent clients in court.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.

• Must have a valid Kentucky Law License.
• Ideal candidates may be newly licensed attorneys or have up to 5 years' experience.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• License to practice law in Kentucky (Required).
