The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting, reviewing, and revising commercial purchase and sale agreements, as well as commercial leases. Strong writing skills, a strong work ethic, and effective communication with clients are essential for this role. Experience with acquisition and disposition, particularly in retail leasing, is highly desirable.

Job Duties:

• Draft, review, and revise commercial purchase and sale agreements.
• Review and negotiate commercial leases, with a focus on retail leasing.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on real estate matters.
• Conduct due diligence and research related to real estate transactions.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other parties involved in real estate transactions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing real estate transactions.
• Assist in the resolution of legal issues and disputes related to real estate matters.
• Stay updated on industry trends and developments in real estate law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• License to practice law in the state of Texas.
• Experience in drafting commercial purchase and sale agreements and commercial leases.
• Strong writing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
