Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Litigation practice in Rogers, Arkansas. The ideal candidate will have up to five years of experience in Healthcare or Commercial Litigation and a keen interest in complex litigation matters. This role offers the opportunity to take a substantive and leading role in various cases while collaborating closely with experienced partners and clients.

Duties

• Manage a broad range of complex litigation matters in federal and state courts and arbitration forums.
• Handle aspects of civil litigation, including client communications, motion practice, discovery, court appearances, mediations, and settlements.
• Take and defend fact and expert depositions.

Requirements

• Desire to take on substantive and leading roles in cases, including attendance at hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and exceptional research skills.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with a commitment to excellence and professionalism.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver timely, quality assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Currently admitted to practice in Arkansas with an active bar license in good standing or able to be admitted within one year.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in Arkansas.

Skills

• Experience in civil litigation preferred, not required.
• Experience in complex business litigation, medical malpractice, product liability, and other tort litigation preferred but not required.
