A law firm is seeking a skilled CPU Design Technology Specialist to contribute to the drafting and prosecuting of patent applications for innovative clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with specific expertise in CPU Design, including virtual memory management. The role involves collaborating with patent litigation teams, interviewing inventors, and corresponding with patent offices.

Job Details:

• Draft patent applications for innovative clients, encompassing detailed descriptions and figures.
• Correspond with the patent office regarding pending patent applications.
• Provide technical and scientific expertise to advise patent litigation teams.
• Conduct interviews with inventors to gather information on new ideas.

Requirements:

• Strong background in either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with CPU Design, including virtual memory management.
• Advanced degree in relevant field preferred.
• 2+ years of patent prosecution experience.
• Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
• Registration before the U.S. Patent & Trademark office is preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (required).
• Advanced degree in relevant field (preferred).

Certifications:

• Registration before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (preferred).

• Expertise in CPU Design, with a focus on virtual memory management.
