State and Local Tax Manager - Credits and Incentives

The candidate will serve as engagement manager with responsibilities for drafting and reviewing statements of work, master services agreements and related win forms. Effectively leverage available technology and other resources to maximize technical application to project teams. Implement appropriate tax objectives, scope and methodology and actively participate in meetings with client's management to understand the broader impact of current decisions and possible solutions. Evaluate skills and develop Seniors and Staff in client engagement management and technical expertise. Participate on business development teams which includes networking, new client development and client expansion activities. Provide state and local income/franchise tax and related analytical advisory services. Advise on federal and state income/franchise tax incentives including statutory and negotiated incentives. Assist with managing post-closing activities related to the transfer of tax credits between project owners and corporate and individual taxpayers. Assist in providing SALT credit & incentives tax expertise for the firm at a national level. Draft state and local tax and credit & incentives alerts, insights and diligence memoranda. Participate in public speaking and drafting content for conferences and events.
