Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level commercial litigation associate to join its Miami, FL office. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of business litigation experience and be adept at handling complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts.

Duties

• Conduct and manage written and document discovery.
• Research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Prepare witnesses for testimony.
• Appear for status conferences and argue motions in court.
• Participate in settlement conferences and negotiations.
• Assist with trial preparation.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of business litigation experience.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal, preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Comfortable with direct interaction with partners and clients.

Education

• JD from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
