Duties

• Perform complex legal research and analysis.
• Assist in negotiating agreements and resolving disputes.
• Support clients with regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct depositions and interviews.
• Manage litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Represent clients in court appearances.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategies.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 2-4 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong experience in depositions and legal research.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Admission to the Michigan State Bar or eligibility to be admitted.

• Doctor of Law

Certifications

• Admission to the Michigan State Bar

Skills

• Experience in construction, business, or real estate law.
• Exposure to litigation, including pleadings and motions.
