Job Overview: The Senior Litigation Attorney will oversee and manage all aspects of litigation cases related to personal injury. They will counsel plaintiffs, prepare for and conduct trials, mentor associate attorneys and support staff, and develop litigation strategies to maximize case outcomes.

Job Details:

• Oversee and manage all facets of litigation cases concerning personal injury, including supervising associate attorneys and support staff
• Provide legal counsel to plaintiffs in personal injury lawsuits, safeguarding their rights and pursuing fair compensation for physical injury, medical bills, and other related losses
• Prepare for and conduct trials, including jury selection, opening statements, witness examination, and closing arguments
• Assemble and scrutinize a variety of legal documents, such as petitions, motions, responses to discovery requests, settlement contracts, and other case-related correspondence
• Facilitate resolution discussions with other parties, insurance providers, and defense lawyers
• Mentor and guide associate attorneys and staff to ensure clients receive the best results possible
• Develop and implement litigation strategies to maximize case outcomes

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in California and good standing with the CA Bar Association
• Significant experience in personal injury law
• In-depth understanding of personal injury laws, regulations, and legal procedures
• Demonstrated success in personal injury cases, including a significant volume of settlements and verdicts
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills
• Collaborative team player who can work effectively with colleagues and staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle a large caseload
