Duties:

• Advocate for clients in family law cases such as divorce, custody, child support, and protective orders

• Draft motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement agreements

• Manage litigation from intake through resolution, including hearings and trials

• Provide strategic legal advice with empathy and professionalism

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal support teams

• Monitor deadlines, maintain accurate records, and adhere to procedural requirements

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Texas

• At least 2 years of litigation experience (family law preferred)

• Demonstrated courtroom experience and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage high-conflict cases with discretion and sensitivity

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Texas State Bar in good standing

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and drafting

• Familiarity with family law procedures and the Texas Family Code

• Competence using legal practice management software

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and legal professionals

• Strong time management and organizational capabilities
