Duties:

• Represent clients in property damage insurance disputes involving first-party claims

• Manage the entire litigation process from intake through resolution

• Draft persuasive legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and memoranda

• Attend and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials

• Formulate case strategies and provide legal guidance to clients

• Conduct legal research and interpret insurance policy language and applicable statutes

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of litigation experience with a concentration in first-party insurance matters

• Currently licensed and in good standing with the Missouri Bar

• Located in or willing to commute to the Kansas City, MO area

• Familiarity with courtroom procedures and insurance litigation protocols

• Strong advocacy, communication, and legal writing skills

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Capable of passing a background check

• Must be able to provide three professional references upon request

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Missouri Bar membership required
