Duties

• Manage a caseload involving consular processing and waivers, including:

  • I-130

  • I-601A

  • I-212

  • I-601

  • K-Visa applications

• Prepare clients for consular interviews

• Represent clients before USCIS

• Review immigration applications and supporting documentation prepared by paralegals

• Supervise and manage a team of paralegals to meet productivity and quality standards

• Provide strategic legal analysis to determine case benefits and pathways for relief

• Draft and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases

• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience practicing immigration law

• Prior experience with consular processing and immigration waivers

• Proven ability to manage a diverse and active caseload

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction

Skills

• Proficiency with USCIS and consular procedures

• Strong legal writing and analytical skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
