Duties:

• Represent clients in divorce, custody, and criminal court proceedings
• Conduct client meetings to gather information, provide legal counsel, and develop case strategies
• Negotiate settlements in family law and criminal matters
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to prepare for hearings and trials
• Manage case files, ensuring deadlines and filing requirements are met
• Travel as needed to attend court hearings in various locations
• Provide legal advice across diverse practice areas, including family law and criminal law

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in litigation, preferably in family law or criminal defense
• Ability to handle high caseloads in a fast-paced environment
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team structure
• Availability for travel to court locations within the region

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Michigan Bar, in good standing
