Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues in both federal and state courts.
• Handle discovery, including drafting and responding to requests, and organizing documents and evidence.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and clients to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.
• Interview clients and witnesses to gather essential information.
• Supervise legal staff.
• Potential for first or second-chair experience at trials, based on case complexity and experience.

Requirements:

• An active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Ambition and desire for long-term career growth within the firm.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
• Additional certifications related to litigation or trial law are a plus but not required.
