The law clerks perform a variety of tasks, including legal research, drafting memoranda, reviewing orders and opinions, and assisting in preparing preliminary draft opinions. Law clerks work individually, as a team with fellow clerks, and directly with the Judge. Law clerks have the opportunity to assist in the administration of courtroom procedure, understand and apply the Rules of Evidence, and review administrative records pursuant to an appellate standard of review. Should have ability to: identify and understand complex legal issues and concepts, and write in a clear, concise, and organized manner.
