Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Business Litigation Associate for its Minneapolis, MN office. This role involves engaging in various phases of commercial, civil, and business litigation with a diverse client base.

Duties

• Handle complex commercial litigation, including consumer class actions and antitrust litigation.
• Engage in merger and acquisition litigation and securities disputes.
• Manage corporate governance and franchise litigation.
• Address contractor classification and real estate financing disputes.
• Participate in multi-district or multi-forum litigation.

Requirements

• Two to five years of law firm experience in litigation-based practice.
• A solid background and prior experience in complex commercial litigation, including consumer class actions, antitrust litigation, merger and acquisition litigation, securities and shareholder litigation, corporate governance disputes, franchise litigation, contractor classification disputes, real estate financing and development disputes, and/or multi-district or multi-forum litigation.
• Proficiency in litigation procedures, including discovery and e-discovery.
• Experience with depositions, hearings, and oral arguments is advantageous.
• Active bar membership is required.

• Excellent academic credentials.
