Duties:

• Provide legal advice and strategic guidance on corporate and partnership taxation matters.
• Assist clients in structuring and forming businesses, including advising on the choice of entity.
• Conduct due diligence and draft legal documents for mergers and acquisitions transactions.
• Represent clients in civil tax controversy-related proceedings, if necessary.
• Stay updated on relevant tax laws, regulations, and judicial decisions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar in Ohio or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate and partnership taxation.
• Demonstrated expertise in business structuring, formation, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• LL.M. in Taxation preferred.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar in Ohio or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
