A law firm seeks an associate with two to four years of experience to join their Technology Transactions team in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers an opportunity to work with life sciences and tech companies, shaping IP strategies and facilitating key agreements.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate collaboration, partnering, licensing, and other commercial agreements.
• Provide guidance on product strategy, development, and market positioning for technology companies.
• Advise clients on corporate partnerships, strategic alliances, and licensing agreements.
• Assist with IP and technology aspects of M&A transactions, public offerings, and venture capital financings.
• Conduct research and analysis on diverse technologies, including AI, fintech, and biotechnology.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of legal experience in IP and technology transactions.
• Interest in technology transactions for M&A matters and emerging company clients.
• Excellent research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• JD is required.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar of the office location.
