A law firm seeks a Registered Funds Associate to join its Financial Services group in New York. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience working with registered investment companies and a strong understanding of relevant regulations.

Duties

• Advise clients on compliance with the Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act.
• Collaborate with financial services firms, asset managers, and investment funds.
• Assist in the development and management of investment products.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory matters.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience with registered investment companies.
• Knowledge of the Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act.
• Experience with exchange-traded funds, variable insurance products, or business development companies is a plus.
• Large law firm, in-house, or regulatory agency experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
