Job Title: Mid-Level Associate Attorney - Litigation

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a mid-level litigation associate to join its team through a recruitment partnership. The ideal candidate will bring strong writing skills and deep familiarity with Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice, especially within the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to lead, collaborate, and develop within a supportive litigation environment.

Duties:

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, memoranda, and discovery responses

• Collaborate with subject matter experts in preparation for testimony and trial

• Lead fact development and participate in depositions

• Support and supervise junior legal team members

• Communicate with clients regarding case strategy and progress

• Contribute to the development of legal arguments and litigation strategy

• Engage in high-level legal research related to product liability and scientific evidence

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience handling litigation matters, preferably in a large-firm setting

• Demonstrated experience in Daubert and Rule 702 motions

• Background working on pharmaceutical or medical device cases preferred

• Ability to lead case segments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• Licensed to practice law in California (admission in additional jurisdictions a plus)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally accredited law school

• Strong academic record

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar

• Admission to other State Bars is advantageous, particularly New York
