Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated Business Litigation Counsel in the Denver metropolitan area capable of handling the defense of insurance clients in federal and state court litigation.

Duties

• Work collaboratively with a team on related cases under the supervision of experienced partners.
• Independently handle court appearances and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Take and defend depositions, retain and work with experts, and attend mediations.
• Demonstrate strong persuasive writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Commit to delivering excellent legal work for clients.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in the defense of first-party commercial and residential property insurance claims.
• Admitted to the Colorado bar or eligible for admission.
• Reside in the Denver metropolitan area.
• Excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in Colorado.

Skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases and tasks simultaneously.
