Contracts Analyst
The candidate edits, negotiates, and manages the execution of clinical trials contracts. Provides professional consultation, advice, and direction to all levels of University staff and corporate sponsors regarding contracting issues such that firm clinical trial contracts will best meet legal sufficiency, risk management and financial requirements for the University research objectives. Must have Bachelor’s Degree, with position-related coursework. Major in science or health field and Juris Doctor or Paralegal Degree is preferred. Should have 3+ years’ experience in contract negotiation or related clinical trial experience. Ability to organize and prioritize work with emphasis on tracking for rapid status-check is required. Demonstrated excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand and synthesize complex guidelines and regulatory requirements is needed. 3+ years’ experience in industry sponsored clinical trial contracts management and negotiation is desired. Knowledge of and experience with OHSU policies and procedures is a plus.
