A law firm seeks a mid to senior-level Litigation Associate to join its Eminent Domain & Condemnation Practice in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves representing property owners, businesses, and governmental entities in eminent domain, condemnation, and related real property disputes throughout Georgia and the Southeast.

Duties

• Represent clients in all phases of eminent domain and condemnation proceedings.
• Participate in jury trials and evidentiary hearings.
• Conduct discovery, take depositions, and manage expert witnesses.
• Draft and argue related motions.
• Engage in negotiations and mediations.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Georgia or eligible for admission.
• 3-7 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Experience in eminent domain, condemnation, real property, land use, or zoning is a plus.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills as well as research abilities.
• Ability to manage a high-volume, litigation-focused practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Georgia.
