Job Overview: A law firm in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of practicing law, focusing on handling various insurance defense cases, including but not limited to Construction, Insurance Coverage, Bad Faith, Subrogation and fire-related casualties, Product Liability, Securities, and Aviation cases.

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to insurance defense cases.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing law.
• Proven experience handling insurance defense cases, preferably in Construction, Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith, Subrogation and fire-related casualties, Product Liability, Securities, and Aviation.
• Superior academic credentials from an accredited law school.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Indiana.
