A law firm seeks a senior associate to join its project finance team in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves debt and tax equity financings for renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, and storage.

Duties

• Structure, negotiate, and close construction and term debt facilities and tax credit monetization transactions.
• Draft and negotiate various financing and partnership agreements.
• Manage due diligence and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Lead and execute financing transactions, acquisitions, and joint ventures.

Requirements

• JD and active bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in debt and tax equity project finance and M&A.
• Proven ability to manage transactions independently and drive closings.
• Strong grasp of tax equity structures and partnership tax concepts.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
