A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Real Estate Finance Practice Group in St. Louis. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in real estate finance, including loan origination and asset management.

Duties

• Manage transactions for borrowers and lenders from inception to post-closing.
• Handle large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Engage in loan origination work, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
• Participate in asset management and workout strategies.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team to support and grow the national practice.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of broad real estate finance experience.
• Experience with secondary market repurchase facility work.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
