A law firm seeks a talented Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Accounting Defense practice in Chicago. This role involves representing premier accounting firms and public company issuers in complex litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings, focusing on matters before the SEC, PCAOB, and DOJ.

Duties

• Engage in high-stakes litigation and arbitration.
• Participate in regulatory enforcement proceedings.
• Collaborate with leading practitioners in accounting defense.
• Handle cases involving federal regulators and sophisticated counterparties.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in litigation, arbitration, or regulatory matters.
• Experience in defending accountants or as an auditor is a plus.
• Strong academic background.
• Elite law firm experience is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Prior clerkship experience is preferred but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of Illinois.
