Junior to Mid-Level Construction Litigation Associate

A prominent law firm based in Saint Louis, MO, seeks a junior to mid-level associate to join its construction litigation practice. This opportunity involves working closely with clients across the construction industry—including developers, contractors, architects, and engineers—on matters ranging from contract negotiation to multi-party dispute resolution. Duties:

• Represent clients in all phases of construction-related dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation

• Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and related documents

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and discovery responses

• Manage motion practice and assist in trial/arbitration preparation

• Collaborate with internal teams and client representatives to develop case strategies

• Interpret complex legal and factual materials for a diverse client base

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing law, preferably with exposure to construction or commercial litigation

• Demonstrated experience with legal writing, discovery processes, and litigation procedures

• Familiarity with construction-related agreements and project documentation

• Confidence in advising clients on legal risks and resolution strategies

• Admission to the Missouri Bar

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• An active Missouri law license is required
