Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Of Counsel Attorney for its Baltimore, MD office. The attorney will collaborate with the Litigation group to advise and defend employers in various workplace matters, including investigations, administrative charges, and state and federal lawsuits.

Duties

• Independently produce quality work products.
• Defend agency charges of discrimination and employment-related lawsuits.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, and in mediations and arbitrations.
• Collaborate on larger cases as part of a team.
• Lead, supervise, and develop associate attorneys.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience preferred; employment law experience a plus.
• MD Bar Admission preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong case management skills, managing numerous cases simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• MD Bar Admission preferred.
