A reputable law firm located in Roseland, NJ, is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its Workers’ Compensation Department. Duties:

• Litigate a variety of workers' compensation claims, including:
  • Repetitive trauma.
  • Occupational diseases.
  • Death and hearing loss claims.
• Represent clients across construction, manufacturing, healthcare, technology, education, retail, and more industries.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other case-related documents.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on case strategies.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on workers’ compensation matters.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of litigation experience, preferably in workers' compensation or related fields.
• Proven ability to handle high-exposure and complex legal matters.
• Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
• A consistent work history reflecting dedication and growth in previous roles.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and in good standing with the bar.

Skills:

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
