A prestigious law firm is seeking a mid to senior-level associate with 3+ years of experience to join its Employment Group. The role will support both cross-border and global employment matters, offering candidates the opportunity to work on international counseling, corporate transactions, employee terminations, restrictive covenants, and employee mobility. Duties

• Conduct employment diligence and advise on employment aspects of corporate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate employment, retention, and related agreements.
• Advise on reductions in force, employee terminations, and other workforce-related matters.
• Draft restrictive covenants and provide counsel on employee mobility.
• Provide advice to emerging companies on all aspects of employment law.
• Collaborate with various offices in the firm’s global employment practice.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in employment counseling (domestic and/or international).
• Experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with teams.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction where applying.
