A leading Arizona-based family law firm is expanding into the Sierra Vista market and is seeking a licensed Family Law Attorney or Arizona Legal Paraprofessional (LP) to spearhead the launch. This is a rare opportunity for a skilled legal professional to build and lead a local practice with the backing of an established, tech-savvy, and client-centered law firm. Location

• Sierra Vista, AZ

Duties

• Provide legal representation in family law matters including divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, and post-decree modifications

• Manage your own caseload from intake through resolution

• Handle discovery, motion practice, negotiations, court appearances, and client communication

• Educate and guide clients through legal proceedings with empathy and clarity

• Engage with the Sierra Vista community to build brand recognition and local trust

• Collaborate with centralized teams for billing, marketing, client onboarding, and technology support

• Stay current on Arizona family law developments to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge legal service

• LP candidates will operate within their authorized scope, with access to ongoing mentorship and support

Requirements

For Attorneys:

• Licensed to practice law in Arizona (in good standing)

• 1–5+ years of experience in family law preferred

• Trial or high-conflict case experience is a plus

• Interest in long-term growth and leadership within the firm

For Legal Paraprofessionals (LPs):

• Active Arizona LP license with family law authorization

• Experience managing family law cases independently or under supervision

• Comfortable operating autonomously within the boundaries of LP licensure

For All Candidates:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Client-focused mindset with high emotional intelligence

• Tech-savvy and comfortable using cloud-based legal platforms

• Motivated self-starter with a desire to grow personally and professionally

• Commitment to access to justice and high standards of client care

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school (for attorney candidates)

• Legal Paraprofessional certification as required by the Arizona Supreme Court (for LP candidates)

Certifications

• Active Arizona State Bar membership (attorney)

• Active Arizona LP license (legal paraprofessional)
