Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its team. Location:
Burlingame, CA

Duties:

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial to post-trial proceedings.
• Draft and argue motions, attend settlement conferences, and engage in trial work.
• Manage complex discovery processes, including ESI (electronically stored information).
• Take and defend depositions, and handle courtroom appearances.
• Collaborate with diverse teams and also manage tasks independently.
• Contribute to the development of the firm’s cases, including pro bono opportunities.
• Develop leadership skills and mentor junior attorneys.
• Engage in business development to expand and enhance your practice area.
• Advocate for individuals harmed by corporate misconduct, taking on cases that create societal impact.

Requirements:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in litigation, either plaintiff or defense.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Experience with managing complex discovery, including ESI.
• Proven ability to take depositions and argue motions in court.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team and independently.
• Passion for public interest work and commitment to client service.
• Strong leadership potential and a drive to develop your own practice area.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in the state of California.

Skills:

• Ability to manage complex litigation tasks efficiently and effectively.
