Duties

• Represent clients in various phases of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, briefs, and other documents to support insurance claim defenses.
• Engage in deposition and discovery processes, including witness interviews and expert consultations.
• Provide analysis and recommendations regarding legal strategy and coverage issues.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys, partners, and clients to ensure high-quality legal representation.
• Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in California.
• 3-6 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or related fields.
• Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with insurance coverage litigation and/or working directly with insurance carriers.
• Proficiency in legal research platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar in California.
