Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney to join its Business Litigation and Government Contracts practice in Nashville. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an early-career attorney to work alongside seasoned partners on a wide array of litigation and regulatory matters. The position includes involvement in bid protests, size protests, SBA compliance, investigations, and general business disputes, as well as contributions to legal publications and speaking engagements in the government contracts space.

Duties:
Assist with litigation matters involving business disputes and government contracts
Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, government investigations, and SBA set-aside programs
Support bid protests, size protests, and related government contract claims and disputes
Draft legal documents, memoranda, and client correspondence
Participate in writing articles and presenting at events for government contract associations
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop practical client advice and strategy
Requirements:
1–3 years of experience in litigation or federal government work
Interest in or exposure to government contracts, regulatory compliance, and administrative disputes
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical abilities
Excellent verbal communication and client interaction skills
Licensed to practice law in Tennessee, or eligibility to sit for the next available bar exam or gain admission without examination
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with excellent academic performance
Strong undergraduate academic credentials
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in Tennessee, or ability to obtain admission promptly
Skills:
Understanding of litigation processes and legal procedure
Interest in government contracts, public procurement, and SBA programs
Excellent writing and editing skills for both legal and professional publications
Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and practically to clients
Strong organizational and time-management skills
