The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex litigation matters from initiation through trial, demonstrating an assertive courtroom presence, sharp legal acumen, and a client-focused approach. Duties:

• Initiate and pursue civil claims in both state and federal court

• Conduct client consultations and develop case strategies

• Draft and respond to discovery requests and legal motions

• Manage fact-finding through witness depositions and expert testimony

• Coordinate with medical and technical experts to support case evidence

• Represent clients during mediations and settlement conferences

• Prepare cases for trial and conduct proceedings through to verdict

• Draft and argue post-verdict motions when necessary

• Participate in regular litigation meetings and case evaluations

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in New York with active, good-standing status

• Minimum of two jury trials as first chair with documented trial success

• Proven ability to manage a substantial litigation docket independently

• Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding legal support teams

• Strong organizational abilities and time management across multiple cases

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• New York Bar license (active)

Skills:

• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills

• Persuasive negotiation techniques and settlement acumen

• Proficient in legal research, analysis, and motion practice

• Effective communicator with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
