Duties:

• Deliver thorough legal counsel to clients navigating family-related legal challenges

• Handle a caseload involving high-asset divorces, child custody, and parenting matters

• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and mediation proceedings

• Draft persuasive motions, pleadings, and proposed orders

• Collaborate with legal support staff, including Paralegals and Discovery Specialists

• Manage sensitive cases involving domestic abuse, addiction, or mental health considerations

• Strategize for litigation and negotiate favorable outcomes for clients

• Maintain organized and efficient workflows in a fast-paced legal environment

Requirements:

• Active license in good standing with The Florida Bar

• Prior experience handling family law cases

• Demonstrated ability to represent clients with both tenacity and compassion

• Skilled in litigation, courtroom procedure, and legal strategy

• Exceptional legal writing and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple cases

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with legal practice management systems (Clio is advantageous)

• Comfortable using virtual platforms such as Zoom for court and client meetings

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Florida Bar admission (required)
