Duties

  • Take and defend depositions across the full discovery spectrum.
  • Draft and argue strong motions, including CR 12, CR 26/37, and CR 56.

  • Prepare cases for arbitration, mediation, and trial.
  • Work directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.

Requirements

  • 2-8+ years of litigation experience, ideally in personal injury or civil litigation.
  • Ability to take effective depositions and manage discovery independently.
  • Strong knowledge of Washington Civil Rules and local rules.
  • Excellent legal writing and research skills.
  • High integrity and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and think strategically.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • WSBA Bar License.
