A law firm seeks a debt finance associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Corporate Practice Group in either Seattle, WA or Portland, OR. The associate will work on structuring, negotiating, and documenting secured and unsecured debt finance transactions, sponsor-backed M&A, and intercreditor and collateral issues. The role involves collaboration across offices and direct client interaction.

Duties

• Structure, negotiate, and document debt finance transactions.
• Manage project workstreams and produce client-ready documents.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients on complex transactions.
• Engage in business development and professional organizations.

Requirements

• Experience with secured and unsecured debt finance transactions.
• Familiarity with industries such as agribusiness, tech, and consumer products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work within a team.
• Commitment to client service and business development.

Education

• JD from an accredited university.

Certifications

• Active membership in or commitment to applying to the Oregon or Washington State Bar.
