Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced attorney for its Wilmington, DE office to assist with corporate governance and appraisal matters in the Delaware Court of Chancery and other courts nationwide. This role offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for gaining hands-on experience.

Duties

• Conduct research, draft, and review documents for litigation issues.
• Perform privilege review and prepare privilege logs.
• Engage in factual research.
• Draft document requests, interrogatories, and deposition notices.
• Prepare for and attend depositions; analyze transcripts for relevant testimony.
• Participate in trial preparation and attendance.
• Prepare for mediation and engage in settlement activities.
• Draft complaints and briefs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in related substantive matters.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate confidently with all organizational levels.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education

• A U.S. law degree.
