A law firm seeks a Patent Agent or Technical Advisor to join the Patent Prosecution and Litigation Practice Group in Denver. The candidate will support cross-office needs, focusing on preparing and prosecuting patent applications with the USPTO and foreign patent offices.

Duties

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications with the USPTO and foreign patent offices.
• Provide technological guidance to attorneys for client invention documentation.
• Counsel clients on comprehensive IP strategy and prior art analysis.
• Manage IP portfolios effectively.

Requirements

• Registration to practice before the USPTO is a plus.
• Industry experience preferred but not required.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and team-oriented.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task independently under deadlines.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate high integrity.

Education

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, and/or Telecommunications required.

Certifications

• Registration to practice before the USPTO is a plus.
