Duties:

• Manage an active caseload of general liability defense matters

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda with clarity and precision

• Respond to written discovery and prepare dispositive motions

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis

• Prepare and take depositions of clients, experts, and witnesses

• Attend mediations and court appearances

• Review and evaluate client documents and provide case strategy reports

• Maintain direct communication with clients, opposing counsel, and internal legal teams

• Ensure timely and professional case handling under partner supervision

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience handling general liability defense matters

• Admitted to practice law in the state of Florida

• Familiarity with personal injury, premises liability, product liability, motor vehicle liability, and construction defect litigation

• Additional court admissions are considered a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills:

• Ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously

• Exceptional legal research and writing capabilities

• Clear and persuasive oral and written communication skills

• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational habits

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online research tools

• Familiarity with both state and federal litigation procedures
