Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in family law litigation.
• Represent clients in family court, including at hearings and trials.
• Advise clients on a wide range of family law issues such as divorce, child custody, and support.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and other departments to manage cases efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in family law and related areas.
• Provide strategic counsel and practical solutions to clients navigating complex family law matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan.
• Strong understanding of family law, including litigation processes, custody, and support issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan.

Skills:

• Knowledge of family law statutes, case law, and regulations.
• Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.
• Strong courtroom presence and litigation experience.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Job Location:
