A reputable law firm is seeking an entry-level litigation attorney to join its expanding team. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The firm provides legal services across various areas including business disputes, real estate litigation, construction issues, and intellectual property matters. The ideal candidate will have a passion for litigation, a strong legal research background, and the drive to grow within the firm.

Duties:

• Draft legal documents such as letters, memos, motions, orders, and pleadings
• Assist lead attorneys in preparing for hearings
• Manage and track case progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines
• Coordinate discovery efforts with paralegals and support staff
• Conduct thorough legal research on diverse topics
• Ensure accurate time tracking and billing for services rendered

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of litigation experience
• Strong understanding of legal research and writing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, and Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work remotely with a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Graduation in the top 25% of the class, or at least cum laude
• Must have earned top marks in legal research and writing courses

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in good standing

Skills:

• Legal research and writing

• Time management and deadline adherence
• Proficient with Clio (a plus)
• Ability to collaborate with legal and administrative teams
