Location:

• Houston, Texas

Duties:

• Independently evaluate and manage commercial litigation cases

• Prepare and conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances

• Present oral arguments and conduct legal research

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

• Collaborate with attorneys and staff on case strategy and execution

• Engage in regular client communications and updates

• Develop legal arguments and investigate facts to support case development

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation

• Proven trial experience (first-chair trial experience strongly preferred)

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

• Able to manage multiple cases simultaneously with minimal supervision

• Demonstrated legal project management experience

• Availability for a full-time, in-office work schedule

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the state of Texas

Skills:

• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills

• Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities

• Ability to think strategically and act decisively

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Effective team collaboration and client relationship management
