Conflict Coach

The candidate will work to prepare individuals for mediation on matters including disciplinary actions, policy interpretation, employee issues, unpleasant event occurrences, etc. Will collaborate to act as a neutral third-party to help the participants crystallize their desired outcomes and prepare for their ADR session. Discuss the issues of conflict with the participants individually prior to a scheduled ADR event, to include assisting the coaches in gaining clarity around the issues of conflict; exploring role reversal scenarios, contributions to the conflict, roles in any potential resolution options, and the messaging during the ADR session. Explore how the party would like to convey the message, how the party would like participants to receive the message and potential options, benefits, and probabilities of resolution. Pre-mediation conflict coaching sessions are expected to last up to one hour per participant with the objective of preparing the party to have a successful ADR conversation. Conduct the assigned pre-mediation coaching session in accordance with International Coaching Federations Standards for Ethical Conduct. Support project teams and program managers and provide daily execution assigned work functions. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. Ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones / delivery schedules as outlined. Schedule the pre-mediation coaching session. Ensure all pre-mediation coaching steps, including documentation, are completed. Support project teams and program managers and provide on-time execution assigned work functions. Summarize issues and findings in a clear and logical manner.
