Job Overview:
A Solana Beach-based law firm located in the Cedros Design District is seeking a seasoned litigator to join as a Senior Associate in its trust, probate, and civil litigation group. Duties:

• Advocate for clients in probate-related litigation and intersecting civil cases across California courts

• Appear at hearings, trials, mediations, and related legal proceedings

• Prepare persuasive pleadings, briefs, motions, and other legal submissions

• Engage in detailed legal analysis and strategic research using comprehensive tools

• Maintain active communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Offer clients informed, realistic perspectives on legal options and case trajectory

• Collaborate with internal legal and support staff to streamline case progression

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience managing civil litigation matters

• Demonstrated success in handling trials and evidentiary proceedings

• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-volume practice environment

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with precision and minimal oversight

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California

Skills:

• Strong litigation acumen and trial advocacy

• Excellent drafting and oral argument skills

• Strategic problem-solving and issue-spotting capabilities

• Professionalism and reliability in client-facing communications
