Duties

• Prepare patent applications for submission to the U.S. Patent Office and patent courts.
• Review and analyze patents and technical documents for case preparation.
• File patent applications and registrations.
• Conduct research and analysis on various patent and IP-related issues.

Requirements

• Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to diverse intellectual and practical problems.
• Strong technological background.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a science discipline required; Master's degree a plus.

Certifications

• Registered to practice as a Patent Agent with the USPTO.
• Registered by the U.S. Patent Office.

Skills

• Proven experience in patent prosecution within a law firm or technology company.
