A law firm seeks a mid-level Associate to join its Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions Practice in Los Angeles, CA. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team on complex transactions across various industries, with a focus on health care services.

Duties

• Advise financial sponsors, portfolio companies, founders, and investors on complex transactions.
• Counsel clients in the health care services sector, including post-acute care and digital health.
• Manage transactions independently while collaborating with a team.
• Integrate legal technology and innovative frameworks into deal processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Private Equity and M&A, preferably at an AmLaw 100 or 200 firm.
• Experience with joint ventures and emerging health care business models.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.

Skills

• Exceptional writing and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with design thinking and disruptive innovation principles.
• Experience with generative AI and legal technology.
