Job Overview:

Duties:

• Make presentations to groups of elders at senior centers and other venues.
• Prepare and file applications for MassHealth and other government benefit programs for elders.
• Handle asset restructuring and related issues.
• Prepare estate planning and other asset protection documents.

Requirements:

• A thorough grasp of elder law issues.
• Strong presentation skills to engage groups of seniors effectively.
• Previous experience in elder law practice.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Certification in Elder Law (e.g., Certified Elder Law Attorney - CELA).

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of elder law regulations and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
